Straight answers

What solar owners ask us at the kitchen table.

Why is my solar not saving me money?

Four usual reasons: the system is producing less than it should because something failed, it was undersized for the house from day one, the utility connection or net metering was never set up right, or your usage went up after the install and nobody told you. We check production against the bill first, so you know which one it is before anyone sells you anything.

My solar company went out of business. Who services my system now?

We do. We take over orphaned systems every week, on any brand of panel or inverter. The manufacturer warranties on the equipment usually survive the installer. The labor warranty is what you lost, and that is the part we replace.

How do I know if my panels are producing what they should?

Your monitoring app, if you still have access, shows daily production. Compare a sunny day now against the same month in the first year. A drop of more than about 15 percent, panels reading zero, or an inverter light that is red or off means something is wrong. If you never had monitoring access, we read it from the inverter on site.

Can you repair a system another company installed?

Yes. Any brand, any original installer. Inverters, optimizers, microinverters, wiring, breakers, roof leaks at the mounts, and monitoring. We are licensed for both the solar and the electrical work.

Not a lead farm. Sorry to disappoint the other guys.

Most sites with a name like this take your number and sell it to five contractors before you've put the phone down. Then all five call you. This page is owned and answered by AllSolar Energy, Sanford, Florida, since 1999. One company. Your name goes to our own office and nowhere else, and the person who calls you back works here.
